TLE Reflection #9: Personalized Apron

We've done this project before (when we were in grade five, I think). But this apron project is more complicated because there are more features like the pleats. And what made it harder is the stitch required - we have to use the back stitch which is time consuming. But it's all well because I love challenges! And we've grown so it's just right to give us a more complex project.

Doing this project, from the start - measuring - until the sewing itself was so much fun. Yes it's hard/difficult but I really love the excitement about the outcome myself was feeling while doing it. Honestly, I love the "pocket-effect" I did. And for my name, I used the chain stitch which really made it attractive. I sewed it on a cloth first because I want my name to be really seen even from a distance. And I also loved that our teacher required pleats because it's really nice. Uhmm.. I actually loved the 'tela'. I'm even wondering what 'tela' Ma'am Giron was telling us that we won't like.

Uhmm.. what else? I love the fact that our class have the same design and color of cloth. I wonder how we'll look like when we wear our own aprons together.

I really worked hard for this apron, maybe that's why I really loved the outcome that I immediately took a photo of it after I finished.
